Personal Branding – Eky – Metamorphosis Interior Styling

I love people who totally exude their brand. Like when you can see their entire aesthetic literally dripping from them.

This is exactly how I felt when I was walking through the wardrobe of Eky Akphonor before her shoot.

I could see her exact eye for putting together fabrics, colour palettes and texture in a way she could never have described to me.

And that is exactly what Eky helps others to do in her business Metamorphosis Interior Styling.

Eky’s promise to her clients is to help them create spaces that reflect your unique personality.

Now I love a well styled room – in fact as a visual gal I kind of need this. And I know when a space is off kilter, lacking a bit of pizazz or an editing eye, but I just don’t have the skill to fix it myself.

So a few years back, I got a stylist to help me to style my apartment. At the time I questioned if it was an extravagance I “shouldn’t afford”. However I was incredibly busy and wanted to come home to a space I loved the feeling of.

And after 5 years in that same space the only thing I ever updated was a few photos and my linen.

So much better than the dollars and time I would have wasted trying to make it right on my own (and most likely getting it oh so wrong!)

So if you have been thinking about updating parts of your home life and like me you have no idea where to start, this lady will collaborate with you to give you a fresh new look in a tired feeling space (or even your whole home!)

This shoot was part of our Social Sessions Photography Experiences, (which seem so long ago right now) and I let Eky have free reign styling areas of the home we photographed in and of course we captured her working & out and about with “clients” (ahem thanks ladies for all making cameos – the beauty of the social sessions experience!)

It’s so much easier when you have all your images taken by a professional. Now I have images of different sizes for different platforms all ready to go! Not only did I end up with lovely photos, I also learnt a lot about personal branding and successfully sharing my brand online. My experience with everything the team has to offer has been rewarding, I feel a lot more confident sharing myself now. Whenever I share the images I am so glad I decided to do this!”
