“From the moment I walked in I felt like I was in the presence of old friends. You are both so sincere and honest – my kind of people.”
This was just a snippet of the feedback I received from fellow photographer Lisette the day after her workshop & shoot experience with our team on our recent East Coast tour.
It is a funny thing being a photographer and stepping on the other side of the lens.
You are so used to others being the centre of attention. You are so used to making others feel special and important.
But I think it is so important for us to walk our talk, as well as of course experience what it feels like to be on the other side of the lens.
This experience with Lisette was so special for me personally on a few levels.
Firstly it was the first time teaching in person workshops to other photographers – such amazing energy and vibes on that day.
But I loved sharing with Lisette and other photographers how special bringing together a bunch of women can be in a photoshoot environment.
Women, we can feel a bit icky about putting ourselves out there, I completely understand that.
But doing it in the company of others, who are feeling as vulnerable as you are
And seeing the collective energy shift and confidence rising as everyone supports each other to push outside their comfort zones, have fun and really shine
It’s just special
So as much as I love this feedback, I think I am just good at bringing awesome people together to have a good time (oh and capture awesome image & video content at the same time too of course!)
If you want an experience you that will change the way you and others see you, then you too can check out the social sessions experience
I also recorded a podcast episode with Lisette you can check out here too if you like!
Enjoy the highlights of this beautiful soul,
P
