Branding – Flat Out Bear
I recently had the pleasure of capturing the creators of the Flatout Bear at their warehouse in Rozelle Sydney, and I have to say I felt a little star struck.
Not so much by the creators, sisters Prue & Sarah, but by the little furry guys themselves.
You see these soft (100% Aussie lambs wool) koala shaped comforters have made quite a name for themselves in many famous households.
Long before influencer marketing was even a thing, these very savvy sisters figured out the power of celebrity, and sent a few of their bears to some VERY famous celebs, and not long after were gaining the praise of the famous parents, as the little guys had become part of the family. (Anyone who has babies with comforters knows, you can never leave home without them)
Celebs such as Sarah Jessica Parker, The Kardashians, Keith Urban just to name a few were singing the praises of this cute little Flat Bear on TV, on their socials and in personal hand written notes.
BUT more recently the girls recognised the fact, that in this changing marketing world, it is no longer enough to have a great product, provide excellent service and meet the demands of the market. More and more people were wanting to see the faces behind the creation, and know the story behind the brand.
So I was honoured to be chosen to help create some behind the scenes imagery and with Chloe help craft video content to tell the story behind this cute and furry world-wide sensation.
