Time and time again I meet women who have put EVERYTHING and EVERYONE else in their life first – so much so that they never (and I mean never) would even dream of “indulging” in an activity that put them in the limelight – that singled them out as SPECIAL or DESERVING which we all know in theory all people are. This is often rooted or grounded in deep rooted belief systems – like not being good enough, feeling not worthy –or not beautiful. And I absolutely RELISH the opportunity to spoil and make every woman see herself as the beautiful creature she is. This gorgeous 3 generation photo shoot turned out to be so much more than simply capturing this gorgeous time in their lives, her Melinda tells the story of her experience with her mum Linda, little angel and one on the way…. “I wanted to make my mum feel as special as I see her. She has always had reasonably low self-esteem and found it difficult to ever consider herself as being ‘beautiful’.

After seeing some of the photo shoots that Paula has done, I knew I had chosen the right photographer. This decision was not just on her skills but the whole experience that comes with the package of the photo shoot. “I was pregnant and my mum had been helping me out with looking after my toddler while I balanced being a mum, running the house, working & battling morning sickness & exhaustion that comes with the 1st trimester of pregnancy.

During the shoot both my mum and I felt like PRINCESSES & for the first time in almost forever, my mum actually found herself thinking she was beautiful. Paula was so bubbly & inspirational and made us feel like a million dollars. It was beautiful to see how she helped my mum see her true self and how beautiful she really is. Seeing the photos just recaptured the feelings & beautiful experience of the photo shoot. Mum will never forget the amazing experience and what emotions she felt on the day.

The photos are a constant reminder that she is not just beautiful on the inside but the outside reflects this equally. I will never forget being able to give this gift to my mum which I couldn’t have done without Paula & her team. My mum learned that she is as beautiful on the outside as she is in the inside. This is an incredibly huge step for a 73 year old who has never been proud of her appearance. Always conscious but never proud. I can see the self-value it has given to my mum everyday. I can’t thank Paula & her team enough for the unforgettable experience she created for my mum & I. The photos turned out just beautiful & are a constant reminder of the beautiful afternoon we shared at the photo shoot. Choosing to have a few photos taken with Paula is so much more than just being able to walk away with a beautiful photo. It is the entire experience that will stay with you.
