Jenny was the blessed winner of the major prize that I donated to the Pretty In Pink Walkathon run by my good friend Melinda Bingley of MAB PT & Adventures.
When she first called to book in for her shoot, her main focus was family-family-family.
And when I met Jenny and her tribe in person I totally got it. These guys are so close and all just love a good laugh, it made for a really fun shoot.
But my favourite moment came when I was shown an old family photo that had been captured 10 years ago, and I was asked to recreate it.
Call me sentimental, but as my own daughter and our family kids are growing up at what feels like light speed, I really have a new appreciation for the photos I took when the kids were younger.
It is really easy for even me to let time go without taking photos. The iPhones are great, but nothing beats a really nice styled portrait session where everyone (especially mums) get into the photos.
So I played ball and we gave a 2016 spin to this family portrait captured a decade ago!
And their response…
“We loved how Paula worked with the whole family bringing out everyone’s personality for the best family photos.”
And these are just some of my other favs from this gorgeous family portrait which started with wine, cheese and makeovers in the studio for the girls, and joined by the boys at the beach after 🙂
Mum’s we need to exist in photos. If it has been too many years since you took the time to capture your family get in touch – I will make sure you love yourself in your photos!
