Family Ties from Abroad

My parents immigrated to Australia before I was born, and left a really large extended family behind.

And unlike today where it is easier to travel & keep in touch in so many ways, all we had were sporadic phone calls, letters (yes snail mail) and long extended visits.

So when I met Reeta, sister Riikka and their lovely parent visiting from Denmark, it was really pretty special for me that they chose me to capture their visit in a shoot at my studio.
