What a pleasure it is to know that what you create will be cherished for years. It is a part of my job I think I can often over look.
I can get really caught up in the creating an experience, trying to really polish the images to their best and of course ultimately delivering the finished images that (and this is big to admit) I find myself focussing on my end of the deal, that I forget what the images will do after they have left my studio.
I look across my lounge room, and I have snippets from my life and the lives before me, and I really treasure those little reminders of the people who have meant the most to me in my life.
I do not put up lots of photos (typically, I do have lots of hard drives) but the ones I do have up mean so much to me, and I would be lost without them.
As I was looking over the images that I captured for Meg, her mum Jan and their family, I was reminded of just how special what I get to do is, not just for the mums and dad’s but for the kiddies too, they just probably don’t know it yet.
As much as I love to capture women and make them feel amazing and know they are beautiful an even bigger part of what I do is sharing that with their families.
A lot of the time I will show the ladies in the studio, as I want to talk to you mum’s who may be struggling, or daughter’s who want to remember this time with your mum, but today I want to share highlights of a really loving warm supportive family who I recently photographed.
Their family unit was blessed with the arrival of little Laci and it is clear how much delight she has brought to everyone of them.
I feel so blessed to have captured this gorgeous family. So special 🙂
