Melissa – Primepreneur & Totally Rad Woman

This shoot was one of my favourites for this year. Not just because I absolutely love this woman and all that she is doing in her fabulous business – Primepreneur (Slogan – Midlife doesn’t need to be a Crisis!), but also because of the profound shift I know Melissa had from working with me.
And I thought it truly best to let Melissa’s beautiful testimonial and images tell the story…
“I decided to have this photography experience as I was ready to hit reset, and launch my new business. That meant redefining my personal brand and the impact I wanted to make.
Google introduced me to Paula – it was a serendipitous moment that was meant to be. The moment I saw her work there was no doubt that she was THE ONE. Her images spoke to me in so many ways, and I knew straight away that if anyone could make me shine, Paula could.
Before my shoot with Paula my personal brand was professional and polished, but contained. To be honest there was a sense of conforming and holding back. It didn’t fully express who I am or the passion and vitality and difference I bring.
Working with Paula was dynamic, energising and uplifting. Fun and fabulous too. She’s the real deal!
When I first saw my images my first thought was “who is that woman?”. I was so blown away that it made me cry happy tears. I felt a rush of absolute pleasure. (Is that even legal?)
I felt delight, a little bit of awe (that I could actually look that good) and the thrill of possibility. Each time I see them I get a buzz.
Paula has created the most compelling suite of branding photos I could ever have wished for. She managed to capture the essence and personality that is so totally me, and let it shine through in every shot. I’m proud to share them.
I feel self-assured, charismatic and totally focused. This entire experience has ignited something in me that’s been missing until now – belief in how much I have to offer. It has given me the courage and confidence to really own my identity and brilliance. I’ve never been more ready to put myself out there and go BIG!
I finally have the clarity I so badly needed to put a stake in the ground and claim my unique brand – knowing that I can be convincing and consistent across every part of my platform. Paula has given me far more than standout images … she has helped me rethink myself, and shone a light on an exciting new path to leveraging my personal power and style and making a unique contribution to redefining the over 50 woman.
To say that I’m grateful barely begins to scratch the surface of how much I value what Paula and her team have done for me. They saw something in me that I’d lost sight of a long time ago, and have been yearning to rediscover and reconnect with. Thanks to Paula, I’m able to reclaim that vibrant, spirited, multi-faceted woman. She’s given me the WOW Factor! You can’t put a price on that.”
Now as Melissa mentioned, her personal brand was very professional, but I wanted to show how much more of her we were able to capture and how beautiful and inviting her new site is – by doing a little old before and after…
