“The joy of making things is a deep, nurturing kind of happiness. That escape into a world of texture, rhythm, and colour, even for just a few moments in the middle of a busy day. The satisfaction of learning a new skill and a new way to bring beauty into the world. The pleasure of sharing what you’ve made with others who are every bit as smitten as you.”
I ripped that straight from Helen’s website, as I couldn’t have said it better.
Introducing Helen Stewart, from Curious Handmade. She has created a business that I was soooo curious (ahem – sorry) about from our first call.
You see Helen has created a business that I never even knew existed online, even though – duh – of course it does exist, in fact it is huge, but I just had no idea, and was hooked to learn more.
Curious Handmade is for passionate makers around the world. With a weekly podcast, timeless knitting patterns, helpful resources and a thriving community, Helen’s world is a place to revel in the wonder of making things by hand.
For this shoot we were capturing Helen’s gorgeous creations, due to be released right about now, and so we have been itching to share this with you for quite a long time, but like with so many of our shoots we have to hold on until our gorgeous clients get to put them to work first.
And we couldn’t reveal any secrets of her winter collection (Northern hemisphere winter), which is ironic as I sit here in the sweltering heat of the Aussie Summer!
So much gorgeous content from this shoot in the Conondale Hills, you have to check out her Insta page for more!!!
(I can’t wait to share another recent shoot with this Clever Creator more recently, but again you will have to wait…)
Enjoy the highlights,
P
