I think we all intellectually know that we are all growing and changing, but sometimes that journey can be accidental and even gradual, and other times it can be so deliberate and specific because you choose the path to change.

Such was the case for the incredible force that is Mia Munro. It was almost as if Mia’s life purpose was to endure the challenges and hardships she has faced throughout her life in order to be a guide and leader to others.

As Mia, herself states ‘The strongest of leaders have climbed the highest mountains, overcome the greatest storms, weathered the greatest judgment and surrendered to complete vulnerability. This prepares them for the courage required to continue to re-invent one’s self. There are no shortcuts. There are profound realities to be experienced when you go through the pain to find the fulfillment and joy that awaits.’ 

When I first met Mia a few years ago I photographed her and her mum together… and I knew she was on the cusp of major change. We chatted and I knew she was on the edge of creating something great, but I have no idea that less than 12 months later she would be releasing her first book, “The Reinvention Formula”.

In Mia’s own words, this book was literally downloaded in a matter of weeks and she has now gone on to create a movement that now helps 1000’s of people reinvent their lives, their businesses, and their community projects so they are sustainable for years to come.

Mia’s energy is electric and we were just in flow together on this shoot in and around gorgeous Noosa.
