I love working with go-getters, movers and shakers who aren’t afraid to give anything a go. I love even more when I see them succeeding in reaching their dream business goals.
And with business success always comes growth. This can be terms of the team or culture, new directions & products, or even in yourself as a business owner.
On the reverse of this, when I have observed major personal shifts in many of the clients I have captured over the years, I have observed major transformations in their businesses also.
I am finding more and more that with growth, often there can be major shifts in the way you see yourself and your business, and also in the way you want to be perceived.
After all we are not static beings. And I know in the past I myself have felt a little stifled by an outdated vision of myself I was using to represent a newly transformed (from the inside) version of myself and my brand.
It strikes me as kind of ironic, that a website I have worked for weeks and was so proud of can feel totally outdared by a single shift in the way I perceive myself after pushing through a personal or business block.
It makes sense then that you would want the images you use to represent you and your brand would regularly need to be updated right?
Such was the case for Belinda Litster, property stylist and I suspect soon to be educator in her field also.
Belinda has had a few photoshoots with me now, because as her business has grown (woohoo Belinda) and so has her need for diverse photo content to not only fill her Instagram feed but also go to work in facebook ads for her lead generation.
As I have watched Belinda’s business boom, I have admired how she takes action. When she realised her images needed a new dimension, to show a different part of her lifestyle or that of her client, she booked another shoot with purpose and intention.
I know I know, if you have just gotten through your first photoshoot, or are planning your first, it can seem like a huge task to think about going again.
But what if you did shorter more regular shoots, just like Belinda.
More seasonal and current shoots, to be able to keep up to date with current offers and your growing business?
Now if you don’t use platforms like Instagram or facebook to promote your business, you most likely don’t even need to consider this, but if you (like 90% of businesses) are using facebook and Instagram to grow your community and market your business, then I am sure you have already hit that wall from time to time (the I don’t know what on Earth to post today wall)
With regular short and well-planned shoots, like the samples with Belinda, I know you will be spoilt for image content and consistently be perceived as engaged and relevant.
And you can kick the need for stock images to the curve with original and personalised images starring you (you team, your dog and your products and services)
What’s more, you can stop feeling the need to capture every moment and post on the fly, as you will have all your content scheduled and automatically going out with a purposeful strategy behind your posts!
