OK so this was so so special to me to be able to share this shoot… cause it really was completely unplanned and yet so beautiful for me to not only photograph but to share in this experience with this gorgeous group of women!

The stage was set for Amanda to command celebrate daughter Tayla’s 21st birthday with a makeover & photo shoot with me. It was a Saturday, and just happened to be the day before Mother’s Day. When Tayla and Amanda arrived with Amanda’s other daughter and mum, I couldn’t help but want to shoot them altogether!

I gave MUA Katie the look, like can we do this? Can we fit it in. Got the nod and then started thinking about how we could dress the two extra (& completely unprepared & unsuspecting) ladies who had just come along to be spectators for the day.

It really did not take a lot of coaxing, a little bit of borrowing and imagination and bam a shoot for two multiplied and we had a gorgeous Mother’s Day/21st 3 generation experience, that left a few of us (hands up here) with a few tears at the end of just how special the day had been 🙂
