The (Unknowing) Model Kate

I recently featured Kate for the Hot Mumma Contest, albeit unbeknowns to her. She was on holidays when the contest started and when she contacted me to come and view her photos, all she could say was

“Is that really me online? When I saw it on facebook, I even had to double take, I couldn’t believe it was me!”

All I needed to reply… “That’s all you!”

After completing a 12 week challenge with my friend Mel Bingley of MAB Fitness, and really undergoing a life changing transformation of her mind and body, Mel gifted her a photo session with me to celebrate her accomplishments.

Kate really embodies to me what I am all about. She has never done anything like this before, it was totally out of her comfort zone, but she gave it a go and just owned it 🙂 Kate let go, had an awesome experience and really celebrated who she is right now and what she has achieved.

Leading up to the day, Paula was great, she was always so positive and excited, and it was infectious. I couldn’t help getting excited too. Paula help me with my choice of clothing and jewellery, which was extremely helpful as I didn’t know where to start.

On the day of the shoot I arrived still nervous and within minutes I felt very relaxed and comfortable as Paula and her team took control. The hair and makeup artist was amazing, she was so nice and friendly and made me feel at ease. By the time she was finished with me I looked amazing.

When we met my family at the beach for the family shots, she automatically got them all at ease and my kids were having the best fun with her taking photos.

When I walked into the studio to see the wall full of my photo’s I nearly cried. The photos were amazing and couldn’t believe they were of me and my amazing family. There wasn’t a bad one among them I loved them all.

I definitely was amazed at how great I looked in the photos. We all have a busy life and it is hard to take time out for yourself. After having the experience and seeing how amazing the photo’s came out reminded me how great I was and how beautiful/ sexy I still was. Whenever I forget this I only need to look at one of the amazing photos and I will be reminded.
