With Mother’s Day around the corner, Katie decided it was finally time to bring in her mum Sandy for a shoot!

Back story here, Sandy HATES getting her photo taken – well she did! Katie actually kept the shoot a secret from her Mum until just days before, for fear she would totally freak out.
And to push her buttons even more, I asked her if she would kindly let us do BTS video, so we could share how much this experience REALLY can change a persons view of themselves.
Sandy (ex-being in a photo hater) shared with me later, she felt a total shift after leaving the studio – ah-mazing.
I also wanted to share this shoot, as we head outdoors for so many of our shoots, inviting the boys to join in for the last little bit, and I wanted to show that, as I know most women put off being in their family photos, as they know they won’t like themselves in the photos.
After a day of pampering, you feel amazing, and that just totally comes through in the photos.
And how beautiful to have a collection of images of not only you that you LOVE, but with your family too!
Here are the highlights of this gorgeous Mother/Daughter shoot in the studio and then as we head down to the beach in with the boys!
