Portrait – Celebrating Mum

With all the busyness of families, kids, jobs and general life, it can be really difficult to get to the things that you really want to do or have been meaning to do for years.

I know I have struggled to give my family and close the friends the time I would like to. And often big and little moments slip by so quickly and next thing you know we’re already in May 2019!

So I was delighted that Trudi pulled this shoot together for mum Janice, and sisters Christine and Anne-Marie. I can tell you honestly that it was not something that was not in anyone’s comfort zone (hey who over 40 LOVES getting their photo taken!) but I know that they had a ball on the day and loved received their images – memories of their relationships – for life.

I am prioritising my family and switching to strictly business only photography (no weekends and school holidays – YAY!) for a couple of years (not going to say never again – Ala Johnny Farnham!)
